Spain forward Esther González finished as top scorer at Women's EURO 2025 with four goals, helping her side reach the final in Switzerland, where they were eventually beaten on penalties by England.
González has taken her place in the pantheon along with the likes of Beth Mead, Alex Popp, Lotta Schelin, Carolina Morace, Pia Sundhage and Inka Grings – the only player to manage the feat twice. The German is also one of just two players to have reached double figures overall, matching compatriot Birgit Prinz's total of ten.
