Women's EURO 2025 top scorer: Esther González

Spain forward Esther González has finished as the four-goal top scorer at UEFA Women's EURO 2025.

Esther registered twice in the world champions' opening 5-0 win against Portugal then struck again in their handsome 6-2 success over Belgium as well as in the ensuing 3-1 victory against Italy on Matchday 3.

Three players finished one behind the Spain No9 on three goals: Esther's La Roja team-mate Alexia Putellas (who topped the assists chart with four) plus Italy captain Cristiana Girelli and Sweden's Stina Blackstenius.

Both final scorers, Mariona Caldentey of Spain and England's Alessia Russo, were among the 20 players to end with two goals.
